Overview of the Fellowship Council election process, 2025-2026

Phase 1: Election of the Chair of the Fellowship Council

The first phase will involve inviting Full Member Bible Societies to nominate candidates for the role of Chair of the Fellowship Council. Once we have our slate of candidates, each Full Member Bible Society will be invited to vote for the Chair. This role is directly elected by the entire Fellowship of voting members. The candidate obtaining the highest number of votes will be elected.

Phase 2: Cluster Elections to Fellowship Council

Following the election of the Chair, Full Member Bible Societies will be invited to nominate one Fellowship Council member from their respective election cluster. The composition of the election clusters will be shared in due course.

Following the election process, the Nominations Committee will assess the diversity of the elected members and consider whether any co-options are required to address significant gaps.
